40th Anniversary of Roe v Wade

This January marks the 40th Anniversary of Roe v Wade.

We encourage you to get involved in the pro-life movement and help educate people of all ages about the beautiful plan God has for our lives when we chose life.

Please start by watching this video.  A friend of mine helped her adopted daughter and others share their experiences and give pregnant women hope for a new life.

Pregnant? Hope for a New Life
A Celebration of Life through Adoption:

It is our hope that all women who experience an unplanned pregnancy will make a choice to be informed.

5 Ways to Get Involved in the Pro-Life Movement

1. Get informed on pro-life issues.   Listen to a CD. Read a book.  Watch a YOUTUBE video. Check out Pro-life websites and blogs.

2. Educate others.  Share this blog page. Hand out resources such as pamphlets, articles, books, cds, and movies to help others get informed (see suggested titles below). Consider bringing "Theology of the Body" or other chastity programs to your Religious Education program or school.  Invite great speakers like Jason Everett and Leah Darrow to speak in your community.

3. Support organizations, pregnancy centers and places that work to end abortion through financial contributions, prayers or assistance.  Volunteer at pregnancy centers in your area, helping to provide women and families with alternatives to abortion (Visit Heartbeat International to find a facility near you.)

4. Join or start a pro-life group in your parish or school.

5. Pray for the end of abortion – Participate in the next 40 Days for Life campaign and pro- actively pray to end abortion.
